A retired elementary school art teacher, Donna has been quilting since 1981. Her quilting evolved into fibre art in the winter of 2004 while recovering from an illness. She has been creating original works of art ever since for juried shows, art galleries, commissions, family and friends.

Her art quilts are recognized for their intense colour and creative embellishment with paint, threads and beads.

Donna was born in Grimsby, ON and has lived in Milton, ON for the past 25 years. She is married with two adult sons who at times have dabbled in art.
