Threads of fibre have been a passion of mine ever since I was a small child.  I started out playing with my grandmother’s scraps; graduated to sewing my own clothes; dabbled a little in art; learned traditional quilting; fell in love with art quilts; and then became interested in beading and recycling.  An obsession was born.
My art combines traditional and non-traditional elements in a very ‘out of the box’ manner.  This intuitive approach is similar to cooking without a recipe.  You get an idea; gather all the ingredients; throw in a little of this, and a little of that; stir and then apply the heat.  When you’re happy, it’s done.  My plan is to continue to learn and evolve.  I invite you to join me in the journey.
